REVS MIKIE & CAROLYN HENDERSON

WE HAVE over 25 years of ministry experience.

CALLING: To glorify God; to lead God’s people into worshipping the Lord in spirit and in truth; to rightly divide the Word of God; evangelize the lost and encourage others toward spiritual maturity; to mentor Christians in recognizing and using their God-given gifts and abilities for God's glory. Our musical-style is “Blended”.

FORMAL EDUCATION: Berean School of the Bible of the Assemblies of God. Graduated in May of 1984.

SKILLS: Preaching / Teaching God’s Word; Composing & Arranging; Piano; Synthesizers (keyboard); Singing; Worship-leading; Band & Choir Conducting; Marriage & Personal Counseling (with my wife); Recording & Sound Engineering; Vocal & Instrumental Coaching.

EXPERIENCE:

2000 – Present: Interim / Transitional Pastor – Have been filling in at various locations as Pastor and / or Music Minister.

1992 - 1999: Full-Time, Nationwide, Itinerant Music & Evangelistic Ministry – (with my wife) Administered Concerts and Evangelistic / Revival Meetings at churches of various denominations and Rescue Missions, Prisons, etc., across the nation.

1981 - 1991: Associate Pastor – Volunteer position at New Hope Church (Assemblies of God), Cotati, California. Lead Pastor: Buster Martin (see reference, below). Responsibilities included: Oversight of Music Department, played and led worship from piano, in charge of Outreach Ministries, wrote musicals and worship choruses to be introduced to Choir and / or congregation, sometimes preached, Substitute Teacher for Sunday School classes.

MY WIFE, CAROLYN: Is also a credentialed minister. She is a Worship Leader; Soloist; Songwriter; She enjoys praying for and with people at the altar. We work together in ministry.
