| Pastor Mick "Mikie" & Rev. Carolyn Henderson Their Calling is to evangelize the lost (Mark 16:15); to lead God’s people to “worship the Father in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23); to support and encourage others towards spiritual maturity (Ephesians 4:12); to pray for the sick and hurting (Mark 16:17-18) and to support and encourage those in spiritual leadership (Romans 14:19). Mikie & Carolyn Henderson entered the ministry by leading worship together in their home church and doing evangelistic outreaches in the San Francisco Bay area Rescue Missions in the 1980’s. There they saw many answer the call for salvation. They served for a time as music ministers in central California before taking a leap of faith and going on the road full-time to minister around the country for about 8 years. Besides serving churches across the nation, they were also approved evangelists with The Salvation Army and directed music camps with American Missionary Fellowship. According to Scripture, the Lord worked with them with signs following for salvation of souls, Holy Ghost baptisms, healings, and through words of wisdom, knowledge, prophecy (Mark 16:20; 1Cor. 12:8-10) and encouragement. After taking time off the road to pastor, they again hear the call of itinerant ministry. Mikie’s musical gifts include composing and arranging, keyboard skills and singing. Carolyn feels called to minister in song, prayer and in the gifts of the Holy Ghost. She also does some songwriting. They have independently recorded and produced a few albums. Praise & Worship, Big Band, “Camp-Meeting”, Word-for-word Scripture & Story Songs, etc., are all music styles they use to minister with, and they embrace Traditional Hymns as well. Though their music styles vary, their lyrics are always firmly Scriptural. Being members of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and also having songs listed with CCLI (Christian Church Licensing, Inc.), their songs are available for church use and for other Christian events and productions free of charge via this website where you can also hear a sample of their ministry. Serving God in itinerate, pastoral and music ministry nationwide since the 1980’s. All of their services are presented on a free-will offering basis.
